Topic: Binary format of serialization

And what is better for using?
It is necessary from.NET applications or VBA Excel to transfer in With ++ application structure dataful.
Lines, integer numbers, arrays of bytes.

Writing

binn *obj;
//create a new object
obj = binn_object ();
//add values to it
binn_object_set_int32 (obj, "id", 123);
binn_object_set_str (obj, "name", "John");
binn_object_set_double (obj, "total", 2.55);
//send over the network or save to a file...
send (sock, binn_ptr (obj), binn_size (obj));
//release the buffer
binn_free (obj);

Reading

int id;
char *name;
double total;
id = binn_object_int32 (obj, "id");
name = binn_object_str (obj, "name");
total = binn_object_double (obj, "total");

Only did not find where it is used. And it is not clear, how many bugs in implementation of this project.
There is something similar? It is better even more superficial and standard.

As though any, the standard is not present.
Another matter that as it VB and.net, and there all on OLE and OLE Automation it would be logical and will use Com/OLE, probably, with them easier.
From itself still I want it was added council If the data a little and super speeds of type of a velocity of light are not necessary, do not use a binary format generally. In 10 times it will be easier, because it is possible to check up eyes that on an output and to substitute for testing for an input everything, everything.
And what format there to take - all the same, json, XML, Or still something.

Excel it is possible to open "directly" from With ++

At net - the binary serialization, and about OLE - what there serialization standard?

Storage of OLE-objects, or if it is not necessary to write on a disk, OLE-automation.

From VB easily to use COM PropertyBag in which it is possible to push everything.
But from a C ++ to use PropertyBag for me it is difficult, there any  the code on ATL.

it is possible and without ATL

There are examples?
