Topic: vsftp suse 10. The rights.

There is a server, Suse+Oracle+ the client. The task  ftp with the thin client.
It is lifted vsftd.
The user load_ftp is created; (it will be possible them a little)
The directory/etc/ftp / load_ftp is created;
By the owner of the directory it is made load_ftp;
With  or other client the user floods files in the directory.
The web page about possibility  files or review in a browser (we come anonymous) is outlined;
with the rights to the poured in files. If - rw ------- 1 load_ftp users 1996 Dec 2 16:04
That I can not swing or open, if - rw-rw-r - 1 load_ftp users 266179 Dec 2 15:59,
That all apprx.
It is possible  to write a script which chmod will do, but it is ugly. In general how to replace attributes of flooded files? Can make group what?
I ask not to kick for gaps in knowledge, an emphasis in operation on administration of Orakla.

Re: vsftp suse 10. The rights.

In vsftpd.conf

 local_umask=002
chmod_enable=YES
file_open_mode=0755

suse 10 has been let out in 2006 and for it for a long time wait on a garbage heap of history

I thank. Concerning SuSE as the platform  quite arranges. You are surprised, but I administer Orakl 8.1.7 - date of release 2000 year. If the system works, is stable, closed for development, there is no sense to spend resources for improvings.
