Why for Windows there are no separate variants msvc and mingw? Where variants for 32 and 64 bit versions? In the previous releases developers Qt adhered to such rules. P.S. Probably, now they passed to a variant ' collect itself '? Or I not so represent something?

Yes, I here is how time solved . About Qt Remote Objects communicated with  still in 2014 in Berlin on one  but then the decision turned out too . Dudes actually made CORBA on . But as it stands all looks digestible enough.

It is very useful and for a long time an expected option. Is called Qt lite.

Re: Qt 5.9 release

And I here try to push through the  there. One here: https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/191750/ in not so clear status for me, i.e. all is already ready, but why that nobody where not  in the main branch. I cannot it is make itself? The second here: https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/191326/ this should be completed a little. Also there is still a handful  in my local . But as with the first the situation to me is not clear, (i.e. where it goes, whether goes generally) and time and forces are spent sense meanwhile or to do I do not see. I can is finite I do not understand all process ? But the code is ready and anything does not move anywhere. It fairly to tell cools a heat a little, and as a matter of fact who it will need Digia which to earn money for support of paid customers or me (where I can is simple to take just quitted release 5.9 to roll the patches and to use it further) more. Correct if it is not right.

Sasha Ginzburg decided that they removed support mingw, I am thin hinted that they simply all supposed in one installer. For there is no special difference, to swing on 700 meters or 2,3 . Thus at qt.io loading on  servers considerably decreased.

Re: Qt 5.9 release

I installed this wonderful creation with such here options: problems at once went - it is impossible to take the project *.pro a file - there is an error, the project in MSVC does not form: C:/QT/QT5.9.0/5.9/MSVC2015/mkspecs/features/toolchain.prf:129: Variable QMAKE_CXX.COMPILER_MACROS is not defined. Project ERROR: msvc-version.conf loaded but QMAKE_MSC_VER isn't set (Import): Error (s): 2 (qmake): Exit Code: 3 Any of projects which normally worked earlier in Qt5.8 (MSVC2015) - does not open OS: Windows 7/64 (SP1) Ultimate. P.S. At me it is installed MSVC2015 CE together with QtVs Addin 2 - when in the studio menu I view adjustments - through menu QtVSTools/QtOptions I see quite correct picture:  in the environment of studio *.pro a file (through menu QtVSTools/Open Qt Project File *.pro) - also I receive a regional ohm in general - the assembly  Qt in the environment of MSVC2015 became problematic! Thus, in the environment of QtCreator v 4.3.1 same projects gather with hardly any trouble at all.

Re: Qt 5.9 release

Strange that here: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-60059 this bug is marked as CLOSED the type Inference: Resolution: Cannot Reproduce - says only that QA engineers on Qt Company seriously were not engaged in a problem. Here a material which, probably, helps with workaround: https://www.mail-archive.com/interest@q … 25865.html
