Topic: Request through a synonym to the linked-server

All greetings.
Situation on MSSQL 2008R2:
There is a master server and two linked-servers connected to it (10.106.0.4 and 10.100.28.12).
On one of  (10.106.0.4) there is a basis [dev] and in it table FiasUpdateLog.
From a master server I do to it request:
SELECT MAX (VersionDate) FROM [10.106.0.4]. [dev]. [dbo]. [FiasUpdateLog]
Also I receive correct required date, here all
On the second  (10.100.28.12) table FiasUpdateLog is deduced in separate basis [fias], and in basis [dev] the synonym for this table with the link to basis [fias] is created
CREATE SYNONYM [dbo]. [FiasUpdateLog] FOR [fias]. [dbo]. [FiasUpdateLog]
, That is local request of type SELECT MAX (VersionDate) FROM [dev]. [dbo]. [FiasUpdateLog] fulfills correctly (there is a request readdressing on a synonym).
And here Select query MAX (VersionDate) FROM [10.100.28.12]. [dev]. [dbo]. [FiasUpdateLog] already produces an error No7357.
Possibly, a problem somewhere in resolutions, but I can not understand as to correct a situation.
Operation on all servers is conducted under ' sa ',  also are connected under ' sa '.
What do I do not so?))
P.S.: to Address directly to basis [fias] not to offer smile
