No, I it see only in linked servers. In properties ip it is not specified. I do communication check all transits.

Look there in Alias

If in Alias it is empty;
At that look C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

On a linked server name push the right mouse button. Further - "to Create a script for a linked server", Further - "Using CREATE", Further - "the New window of the editor of requests".
In the generated request search for server name or it IP. Further standard commands of OS  or still something.

If from the server not  more likely ports are closed except sql (by default 1433)
