Topic: Comparing of fields with the user types

Good afternoon
Tell please why there can be such error at performance of a following code:

select o.sch_op
from OP_SCH o
join syn$OP_SCH o2
on o.op_sch_id=o2.op_sch_id
where o2.sch_op <> o.sch_op

Also there is an error:

Incompatible data types: it is expected - it is received U.TSCHED

1. To launch SQLPLUS
2. To copy in a line clipboard:
desc OP_SCH
desc syn$OP_SCH
3. To interpose from a clipboard the copied lines in launched SQLPLUS
4. To look that turns out
5. To copy that turns out in a clipboard
6. To interpose from a clipboard that turned out, here in a forum
7. To ask that it means and what to do further
8. To look forward to hearing

Primitive example:
Walk on office/house, compare on equality two copies of object of type a chair, it is desirable initialized by one factory from the general prototype. Then paint, as you compared them, and why solved, they are equal or not.
