Topic: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Prompt please
Problem from Oracle Enterprise manager 10.2.0.4.0 - all tabs except perfomance work. At attempt to pass to this tab EM it falls, through any time rises itself again.
Error in the browser the such:
500 Internal Server Error
java.lang. OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Similar messages are in emoms.trc. Listing while I will not spread.
Tried to increase the size of selected storage option JAVA_OPTIONS (=Xmx1521m) in emd.properties however it did not help.
On a catfish the server of freely order 20 operative storage, . matter is not in shortage of physical storage.
How it is possible to solve the given problem without re-creation of a repository and restart of the server/base and whether solves it (re-creation, restart) a problem?

Re: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Sal, Thanks for the link, but did not help
I so understand to me the lower part is necessary
Increasing the JAVA heap size of the OMS
For the larger sites, the standard out-of-box heap size of 512Mb might not be enough. Changing this requires a change in the configuration of the Application server:
In EM 10g: Edit the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/opmn.xml file, and change the-Xmx parameter to-Xmx1024M for the OC4J_EM application.
In EM 11g: Edit the startEMServer.sh file in the <EM_DOMAIN_HOME>/bin directory, and add these lines just before the last one in the file:
if ["$ {SERVER_NAME}"! = "EMGC_ADMINSERVER"]; then
USER_MEM_ARGS = "-Xms256m-Xmx1024m-XX:MaxPermSize=512m-XX:CompileThreshold=8000-XX:PermSize=128m"
export USER_MEM_ARGS
fi
But the problem that I in the directory $ORACLE_HOME\opmn have only files ons*, and there is not present a mention java absolutely.
Forgot the most important thing to tell, I apologize - platform Windows Server 2003 R2 64-bit, I put not, therefore what components passed at setting it is possible to search long.

Badly search, I so think.
Near at hand 10g certainly is not present, but it is explicitly controlled opmn, the config a file means also is available

Re: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Generally about what speech that, can about dbconsole?
$ORACLE_HOME\opmn - One ons files are in  bases, instead of Oracle Enterprise manager; there and in \opmn\bin only ons

Re: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Sal, search in a mask *opmn* in $ORACLE_HOME found only folders. Moreover by approximately same machine (the version  same, basis another) with 10g also the given file is not present, but EM works.

Re: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Sal, it is natural about dbconsole. Is interesting on what it was possible to think. Unless on grid

Re: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Ridiculously
For 11th version is
https://support.oracle.com/knowledge/Enterprise Management/2072286_1.html
For example:
emctl config dbconsole-heap_size 1024M-max_perm_size 1024M
The command will update the below parameters in the $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/config/emoms.properties file:
oracle.sysman.dbc.heapSize=1024M
oracle.sysman.dbc.permSize=1024M
And so

Whether restart, whether

Re: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g java heap size out of memory

Sal;
In general as I understood under links it probably a glitch of version 10 any.
In version 11 all is valid it became cleverer (them is at me, the zoo from old , it is necessary to lead to easier uniformity all).
Candidate solutions for 10 only three server restart, and an upgrade oracle turns out-repos recreate. On the fly only recreate, first two is temporarily only.
The correct variant upgrade it is visible
Thanks for the help. Really helped.
.. On what thought initially? I like clearly all wrote about what speech. I do not scoff, simply next time I will more clearly write.
