Topic: Trailing Whitespace Visualizer

I want on to advertize another's studio Trailing Whitespace Visualizer extension It highlights and deletes (at record) gaps and  going in the end of lines. Very much helps to hold the code pure, and to clean for different companions not tracking "purity".

The TOP of the best tools of a C ++ Artistic Style Type: Automatic formatting of the code the Platform: cross-platform the License: LGPL the Website: http://astyle.sourceforge.net In the collective project the code should look how whether it be it was written by one person. And it is simple from banal laziness meticulously to format the code simply not hunting. And as that code reviews did not turn to reviews of style of the code, this tool is invented. Possibilities of its formatting exceed possibilities of the editor of an integrated development environment, and nevertheless it idle time. I recommend as to install universalindentgui, and already through it to use this or there can be even other similar programs. Plus to various IDE is plug-ins using systems of automatic formatting of the code, it is necessary to select only last which too far not one program resulted in the citation.

Hello, VladD2, you wrote: VD> And it is possible on more in detail, what is it? And it is possible how to use? Minimum necessary information contains on one page http://editorconfig.org/ There are described 5 + 2 general-purpose adjustments; different editors allow to define plus specific to different languages and adjustment contexts. They can be defined independently for different types of files, plus to redefine in  if needed to save non-standard, but already added style in any submodules.

And before it all old should be updated. In general, fucked, but earned.

Gaps and blank lines does not highlight, simply removes. Plus there many other useful counters.

Not to dig, I above resulted at once the link on internal section #download, where two sections: Plugin Necessary and Download a Plugin. There it is visible that Notepad ++ in the second section. But generally the example simply  resulted. I do not see sense to continue to use Notepad ++ after release VS Code.

In Emacs is ready delete-trailing-whitespace, it is caused at saving here so: (add-hook ' before-save-hook ' delete-trailing-whitespace) Also is whitespace-mode, with adjustment of illumination of different elements, including trailing. But the essence not in it, and in that that simple illumination trailing whitespace is added by one line: (highlight-regexp (rx (one-or-more space) line-end)) And filters of types of files, even on each separate project are adjusted elementarily through "Per-Directory Local Variables"

Somehow began to hesitate in a youth with experiments. It is a lot of they time take away. VS Code already ripened for usage? It it is real as it is fast, what replaces Notepad ++ when it is necessary to edit the text file stupidly?

Tried to deliver VS Code.  long (though at me very fast machine). The square unit does not support (it already simply  for the modern editor). It can as IDE better. But as the editor of separate files strongly concedes Notepad ++.
