Topic: Analog Shell_NotifyIcon

Colleagues, do not prompt, there is analog Shell_NotifyIcon, allowing to deduce notification messages not in system , and to the arbitrary window, or concerning some point? P.S.: On CodeProject found examples, but they from 2002, and there almost all is implemented manually.

Hello, Vaynamond, you wrote: V> I thought, can eat already regular functional for an output of windows in a type . An icon at the left and title are installed through TTM_SETTITLE. If a target window - EDIT, that is EM_SHOWBALLOONTIP - all to make one call. Here icons on the right it is above not clear as, but probably through  a window  it is possible to achieve the such.

Basically, me except how to "Close" it is more than anything and it is not necessary. Yes at ToolTip there is style TTS_CLOSE.

The icon is deduced (both regular, and user), the title and the text is set, button "Close" also is present. But there are also not clear moments: 1. '\r ' characters, '\n ' in the hint text in an emphasis are not perceived - deduced as the literal text. Itself  it is transferred by words (within the limits of width of the window set by means of TTM_SETMAXTIPWIDTH). 2. I set through TTM_SETDELAYTIME and TTDT_AUTOPOP help lifetime - the help remains on the screen while it you will not close on a dagger.

How to Implement Multiline Tooltips Perhaps business in the text job through TTN_GETDISPINFO, instead of through TOOLINFO?

I will try, though in my case to give the hint text through TTN_GETDISPINFO - all the same what to scratch the right foot the left ear. , works both through TTN_GETDISPINFO, and without it. It I with code conversion of lines stepped. Now I try to understand, why at window closing on a dagger does not come TTN_POP (TTN_SHOW at an output comes).
