Topic: The printer and the USB-extension piece

5 years ago connected printer EPSON CX9300F through 2 USB-extension pieces and 1 USB (Type B) to the computer. Total length of ~3 m.
One week ago the printer began to refuse to print files, length more than 2 pages. And, if to connect directly through one cable all works.
USB-extension pieces workers, recently checked.
Tried to connect also through one extender - similarly (works nothing).
In what there can be a problem?

So in cables and a problem. You suppose, "they  - means, eternal"? Alas.
Announce at least their lengths (separately) and markings (digits at AWG).

On 1.8. Chinese, about AWG they did not hear, or hammered on it.
I checked Extenders . Spanned on one udlinitelju+mini-usb on a shovel a film. Not quickly, but works.

About AWG they did not hear
Here to you and the reason.
Not quickly, but works.
Not that check.
Deliver a 3-meter USB-cable/extension piece with AWG 22 or at least 24 - at once see a difference.

For me it is normal speed: 4 mines of 1.4 Gb through USB3.0 port on USB-udlinitelju+USB2.0 to a cable, and 3 mines on usb3.0 port on USB2.0 to a cable
That is you state, whether that extenders ostensibly "wore out" that?
In the beginning of September printed a photo of 24 Mb, and now the document 700  does not go.
And here still the important thing - the first page is printed always , without dependence from the size of the document and its extension.

Whether extenders ostensibly "wore out" that?
Aging of plastics - the fact, though also sad.
Through USB3.0 port
Try to connect in USB2.0 since problems with USB3 are frequent.

Re: The printer and the USB-extension piece

Still there are contacts in connectors are oxidized. Symptoms - from floating glitches in the beginning to "the unknown device" in an outcome, making impression of serious hardware breakage.

In USB2.0 - silence.

Re: The printer and the USB-extension piece

UPD Skan works as before. So assumptions like "were oxidized contacts", "the cable wore out" it is possible . A problem only with the press.
Probably, something with fire wood

The consequence has no unambiguous following from the reason.
