Topic: And why Antarctica is like as "nobody's" territory, how the Moon? How so it turned out? And if tomorrow someone starts to swing there oil - as punish?

The most amusing that the countries cut pieces, and considered that it is their earth. For example, quite to itself the Norwegian colony "the Earth queens of Modes".
And then all put the tail between the legs, and returned in "".///:shuffle:
It is even more amusing that now the technics fine stepped forward. There are everyones  chisel platforms which quite successfully Buryat and swing petrogas, well, for example, in Barents sea. And here such strange altruism and indifference.:shuffle:

The motivation is not clear smile
Here our brave seamen thrust a flag, and connected a piece of far deserted coast with our country.
What for to give?!:insane:
Here, for example, Greenland.
For some reason Greenland not  "", in quite itself the Danish protectorate.
Or New Land. While there did not arrange a polygon, nobody lodged. However from time immemorial it was the Russian territory.
Islands of Kerguelen.
Well etc.

Something I feeblly imagine investigation of oil fields and its subsequent extraction through pair kilometers of ice. And building of the bulk-oil terminal on an ice shelf somehow too causes some doubts. Oil gold quits. Here if there what unique  would find, for which somebody is ready on one million dollars for gram to unfasten, not a question - at once would cut and divided. And so  it is necessary, this Antarctica.

Well here for some reason Russia does not refuse Wrangel island.
And than the piece of Antarctica is worse than Wrangel island? smile
20 years ago and in Kara sea anybody did not swing oil. And now swing. And what will be in 30 years? smile
When the tsar gave Alaska, all spoke "what for to us this pile of ice in 100500 kilometers from capital??!!" - and then there both gas and oil and other found.

In vain you so. There there are rivers, and lakes. Geological structures of Antarctica are close to structures of Australia and Southern Africa, that is there potentially the richest uranium both gold deposits, and other  in bulk. smile

The contract Overall objective - to provide usage of Antarctic in interests of all mankind.

the main thing forgot to inscribe: in interests of all REMAINED mankind. That is "gold one million". When the remaining population "shower with bombs, fill up with tanks", any more there will be no division into the states, sense something to divide, so it is simple a refuge for "elite". Now it prepare for settling as prepare to the right degree so a doomsday and arrange, 30 years sit out and all anew begin already on all released from  to the Earth. Well and  tell that there it is cold, wildly and it is necessary for nobody, that curious did not climb.

And what to do, when the Norilsk ore body will be settled?
And the question dares soon enough.
And after all people live there, work and even get children. smile
At least the geological prospecting normal is conducted on open sections of Southern continent? smile

And what there? The story as it is cold? It on a surface, on depth is so much hardly. And after application of a nuclear arsenal should become warmer on all planet, but to an inhabited part of Antarctica it is warming hardly reaches, and an ice armor to heat too hardly in interests of lodgers. Unless so becomes warmer, as the armor is not required, but it is radiation . Though about its danger too for certain say lies, there is any simple protection of type of a graft (not for all).

And what there?
It is clear... As is uninteresting to read delirium of a forehead which and about radiation the fig does not know about Antarctica...

By the way, it seems to me the main problems with an armor two:
1. Ice it of that, feeble, easily crumbles and breaks. Powerful props that the mine did not fall off are necessary
2. Glaciers of Antarctica leak to oceans. We arranged powerful , and in half a year it warped. And anything it is impossible to make - pressure of kilometer masses of ice not to stop props. sad

And if reads someone's book will know? Yes, is uninteresting to discuss with the person who does not distinguish the experience from another's stories 8]
