Topic: Export in Excel from MS SQL

Faced that at export through OPENROWSET there is an insertion of numbers as the general format. Thus when  in a cell - Excel at once understands that it is digit, and does a number format. How to make so that at an insertion of the data in excel the number table at once would be perceived as a number format, instead of as the general.

Inside all data is stored in a text type, and in a meta file is stored how to display. And EXCEL not such and clever. For example, number of the Russian passport can begin with zero - at an insertion is defined as number, and we lose a leading zero, as it not meaning. So "at once understands" is at all the blessing.

To set a cell format in advance. To select a column-> -> the Cell format-> Numerical

You a ready file  rename into a file with  ZIP and unpack it in a separate directory.
In folder WorkSheets there will be all your sheets. A format xml
Like there all it is clear. Can try on this way?
