Topic: Audioplayer connection to a microphone input of the smart phone

Question on electrical compatibility. It is necessary to connect to a microphone input of the smart phone to connect a normal audioplayer for earphones (even ordered a special cable-splitter which from 4-contact 3.5'jack does two three-contact - for earphones and for a microphone). But I am not assured that there all compatibly , whether in sense not too big there will be the pressure/currents, produced by a player and would not burn down that in the smart phone. Whether who competently to tell it can is possible so to connect or what resistor in between and if it is necessary - that what and how it to put (sequentially in rupture is necessary, is parallel)?

It is necessary (). A microphone input in itself active (i.e. submits pressure on a microphone), and here it is yet simple Line Out in it arrives, and an output from earphones, i.e. it is even more. Here is about Line Out: http://www.epanorama.net/circuits/line_to_mic.html With an output of earphones it is necessary to reduce still, probably, . Here advise to put the variable resistor, it was possible to begin with a minimum: https://electronics.stackexchange.com/q … hone-input

It is better not to reduce a stereo, and to take only left (or right). Resistors of 20 and 2 kilohm, about (plus-minus a bast shoe): - 2 kilohm between the earth and a microphone. - through 20 to an output on earphones. For very clever player parallely between an output and the earth you can on ~30 ohm (for each channel) to include (can it  absence of earphones).
