Good afternoon such question interests as use OpenGL for 2/3 measured drawing where it is necessary to draw not "triangles" and for example lines with various types of connections, polygons of different type (not convex, with holes, self-intersections), with different filling and  and with . With lines it is possible to present clearly each line as a polygon and to calculate all connections and the ends, but OpenGL can draw only convex polygons, and I so understand the most "simple" variant it to do a triangulation (which too not the simple task for the arbitrary polygons), but arise questions how to make  on polygon boundary. Simply it would not be desirable to invent a bicycle and to transfer rasterizer_scanline_aa from AGG on OpenGL, it is possible where that already is open decisions, but truth  that while sensible did not give.

Not absolutely it, in such a way does not turn out to do various join at a half-line, and actually principal problem with polygons if is the "normal" decision on rasterization of the arbitrary polygons with smoothing in OpenGL that all remaining it is possible to reduce to this task.
