Topic: Temporary table removal

Application the client creates the temporary table #z (connection still openly)
After that in management studio, standing in the same  I fulfill

select * from tempdb.sys.objects where type ='U'

Also I see there this table #z
To documentation it is written (https://technet.microsoft.com/ru-ru/library/ms177399 (v=sql.105).aspx)

wrote:

Names of local temporary tables begin with one character (#); they are visible only to current connection of the user

Where truth
Trouble in that many clients can create simultaneously tables with identical names
Prompt  something

And read a line from the table can? Probably, no. More likely, here transfer not "they are visible", and "they are accessible to reading".

Read the documentation in language which is native for developers and technical writers. In transfer nuances sometimes escape.

Re: Temporary table removal

What name you see? #z? But same a lie. Under it  each client sees only the table.

Re: Temporary table removal

Well, there in a name still a tail from ________________
But at attempt to make select into #z from..., I receive the message "such to the table already is"

Re: Temporary table removal

Re: Temporary table removal

Yes, iap, you are right
Created one more #Z from other connection, and now I see both of them with different identifiers
