In Windows for this purpose is findstr, for that matter?

Re: Than to open huge files

Ordinary: we enter a template for search and gradually we view neighborhoods of the found.
The template can change and be specified as required.
P.S. grep/find/findstr it is, of course, good, but solve slightly other task.

For find* I will not tell, but grep it is just capable to show set "neighborhoods found".

Or, all the same, a line containing the found?

Once again is another the task.
Quite regular scenario of service of technical support:
Found out the message (received the notification) on a certain problem.
Using data retrieveds opened a broad gull, found "something" and "went upwards", understanding that happened in system.
to me to set "to produce plus-minus of lines from found" if I still have no concept, what information volume is necessary ?
