Topic: And you like your old code?

And if it is not pleasant, what exactly? I here the further, the will more often come across the old code and should tell that as a whole I am quite satisfied by it. I now would change Any approaches, but these are trifles, but here is direct such to open the code, to tell WTF that for a ram it wrote, and then to tell, yes it I was, I did not test. More soon ", the pleasant code", and then "about, yes it I". Here I think, whether it means, what I not bad wrote at once, or what I do not develop?

The old? Yes and new my code is not pleasant to me, what about old to speak sometimes like and will make something reasonable but as you will look on remaining - understand that in a trade I only thanks to frame hunger

Re: And you like your old code?

I came for a long time to the point of view that any code - angrily including I, even is direct the newest. Here I write the code, correct, logical, sometimes even I document it, it is direct eyes rejoice. But mind I understand is , as well as any another. And kindly is when this code fulfills any useful to people function.

Hello, vsb, you wrote: vsb> And if it is not pleasant, what exactly? No, anything. Our code - all time is young, if it is checked up and examined. And if it - a shit-code - that it is opposite to us!

Hello, vsb, you wrote: vsb> Here I think, whether it means, what I not bad wrote at once, or what I do not develop? At first, you are a boaster, and secondly from what you decided, what develop? Such simply basically does not happen, that the code of the beginner "was almost ideal"! If it still is pleasant to you, you simply narcissus.

Hello, vsb, you wrote: vsb> ", the pleasant code", and then "about, yes it I". I have a similar sensation at reading of old network and journal articles: ", it is sensible write... A pancake, yes this mine...". And concerning the code periodically there is a surprise as I could not guess to interpose any assert, or what for fenced difficult, but effective algorithm instead of simple slow if it to be fulfilled only time some minutes.

Re: And you like your old code?

Hello, vsb, you wrote: Happens. But then it not simply old code. It is the code which transited some iterations and all WTF have been found and cut. And so WTF with a rewriting of any piece  happens. You think what ram wrote, you look  - so it I. The code is not pleasant first of all complication out of the blue. When the same can be made with a smaller amount of the code and variables, or the class is easily replaced with one function.

Hello, vsb, you wrote: No but then on another and in any way it was impossible - because to write the code it was necessary much and very quickly.

To me the code written even 15 years ago, seems quite reasonable and now... Now I, unless, would change "the global" approach to some tasks which then dared so literary trash it would be required strongly less (if it generally was required).
