Topic: Bat on a notebook with Win10

I buy a notebook for operation. I will need to be delivered there the bat 3.60.07. Whether it will be launched? If it will not be launched, I can try to find to (buy) newer bat, but it is necessary for me, that on it the old archive of letters (since 2006) was delivered. Whether will be here the basic incompatibility? Still the question - whether will be delivered on this notebook Delphi XE8.

Hello, LaPerouse, you wrote: LP> And Windows programs badly on it work, especially such old. And what Windows programs on it badly work? Whether 16-digit that? So they and on Win7 as badly "work" the Interface there certainly utterly worthless, but this is quite a different matter, actually programs feeblly concerning.

Then one fine day Yandex chopped off Pop3, and old  was not able to take away normally from it mail on IMAP so got on ThunderBird. 1. POP3 on Yandex now works. 3. Generally, IMAP I do not love. I prefer to have possibility of mistiming of local archive with remote (not to depend on restrictions on the size of a box; to delete letters with confidential  from the server, leaving them it is local in  to basis). 2. Thunderbird is not able Mail Ticker, and for me personally it is the killer-feature.

Whether will be here the basic incompatibility? The archive since 1999, endured everyone. When they in 2008 changed the storage format, even any converter wrote. Anyway, there there is a built in reserve copying/restoration, and it precisely works. But me sufficed xcopy and simply to specify a folder with mail.... <<RSDN@Home 1.0.0 alpha 5 rev. 0>>
