Topic: What possibilities to connect the exterior unit (except EXTPROC) are still

I welcome!
If there is a necessity to expand Oracle (9 or 12c) on Windows .  with access to to ActiveX-objects it is possible:
1) to issue the extension in the form of DLL and to connect to Oracle as the exterior unit through EXTPROC. And it is important to observe  DLL (32 or 64 depending on Oracle)
2) still it is possible instead of DLL to write a Web server and to speak with it through UTL_HTTP
Help to continue the list?
