Topic: Connection ASP + SQL is torn

Is available IIS on which some sites are allocated. Is SQL to which these sites address. For quite some time now on one of sites problems with a connection to SQL began to appear. And all remaining work normally. Monitoring SQL shows that requests from a problem site simply do not reach it. A situation chaotic. Site or application restarting helps, but it is short-term. Essential restrictions (like as) miss. Broad gulls are hammered by messages on excess , it is more than anything. The magnification did not solve its problem. Prompt, in what side to dig? What ?

Re: Connection ASP + SQL is torn

SQL server and IIS are in a local network. Games with a SQL server DNS-name (full, short), and also changeover by the ip-address in what did not result.

Re: Connection ASP + SQL is torn

What library is used for operation from a DBMS?  on establishment of connection or on request performance?

Entirely an error broad gull.
The item with. A site on  ? There is a concept about that that it is necessary to liberate connection? Without insults but such often practised earlier. Well and request that not the slow? That the most banal.

SQL one on all sites? Sites in one pool, in different pools? A line of connection at sites different, or identical?
Look at queue of requests by the machine where it is twisted IIS (Performance Monitor - ASP.NET - Requests Queued) look at metrics of connection with a SQL Server on side IIS (Performance Monitor-.NET Data Provider for SqlServer).
Well and Connections on the SQL Server.
Also lay out here entirely an error broad gull.  they different happen:-Q

vasya_s;
Most likely each of sites on IIS does not release DbConnection, does not do Dispose, does not close. Also it is a fatal problem for one of sites to which bluntly does not get a connection from a pool.
All is simple. Write the correct code, the bad code will lead here to such results, and it still florets.

+1
And in an exception about it it is for certain told:
[quote =] Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.

But the HARDWARE read only the first sentence:-Q
