Topic: Optimization of a visual short story
I do a visual short story (the interactive book, a picture + the text below + music), at me is some questions
1) I store all (the text file with the scenario, a picture and music) in resources, whether it is correct? Or at big problems can be an amount of the data? How it is better to do? To load all from resources on runtime or to store on the screw?
2) As it is possible to accelerate picture leadingout in TImage, and that is a little , well absolutely, I am afraid that will be worse further.
3) Because of AlphaControls (it is necessary one on some components + components AlphaControls) and at me application weighs on 16 Mb more (one thousand more files.dcu with an executed file forms, well , not , 10 pieces somewhere), it is not assured that all from them are used by application, and so, it is possible to delete somehow unnecessary which I do not use from AlphaControls, and that I of couples am assured that I use a maximum of 1 percent, from that that sticks to my game (
