Topic: I put Oracle 11 R2 on Ubuntu ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

SQL*PLUS Produces an error
ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory
Process ID: 0
Session ID: 0 Serial number: 0
And generally - sudo service oracle-xe start
Starting Oracle Net Listener.
Starting Oracle Database 11g Express Edition instance.
Failed to start Oracle Net Listener using /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/xe/bin/tnslsnr and Oracle Express Database using /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/xe/bin/sqlplus.
Put under this instruction - http://blog.whitehorses.nl/2014/03/18/i … tu-64-bit/
But passed a step - sudo rm-rf/dev/shm
sudo mkdir/dev/shm because at simple changeover of directory name/dev/shm at me the Internet disappeared. Easier so to delete system files - .

That for an idiotic habit - to find to line-where someone's ancient manual and to start to walk on a rake...
In what a problem to read the regular documentation ?
