And what about it to tell? Vygovsky which few times swore the Russian tsar and steam of times to it changed together with Tatars broke the Moscow armies. Against 35 thousand Moscow armies was the order of 50-60 thousand Tatars + Ukrainian-Poles. I.e. one more Ukrainian who not successfully selected the history side, also as well as all present pool of the Ukrainian heroes: Mazepa, Petlyura, Bandera... And all it was already after Bogdana Khmelnitskiy.

Vygovsky the Pole was, truth from different directions so vile that though he and betrayed Ukrainians (in sense local population) in favor of Poles, but Poles all were ready to beat it, for that what very disgusting person. Funny it paid off with Turks (there not our Tatars were) for their involvement in joint campaigns - resolved  cities being on territory of present Ukraine. All ended with that Cossacks at war against it - did not leave locked cities until then yet did not cut all its relatives and relatives of its supporters to knee any there. On this subject it is interesting to read correspondences of that time. Wrote, by the way, in Russian - the Ukrainian then yet was not. S> and all it was already after Bogdana Khmelnitskiy. As a matter of fact fights - our army has been ground for wars against , accordingly Poles collected all armor across Europe and crushed one of ours  armies of the second echelon. I do not remember, why modern  rank themselves as this fight. Accordingly after defeat - the tsar to Poles exposed , reformatted an army under war against the European armies which in some stages completely carried out Poland.

Re: Konotopsky fight? What was it?

"Ukrainians" - artificially invented nation in 19 century. Before entrance of Left-bank Ukraine in composition of Russia in 17 century the population of Ukraine (both Left-bank, and Right-bank) shared on two people:  and .  - offsprings of the East slavic population of the Kiev Russia. Lived in Chernigovshchine, in the north of Kievshchiny, on Volhynia (Zhitomir, Rovno, Volynsk areas), in Galicia, Zakarpate and Bukovina (present Western Ukraine).  - fair-haired light-eyed people.  - offsprings of Circassians and the Turkic people which have appeared in territory of the Central Ukraine in 10 - 15 centuries. In 10 - 13 centuries them named , in 14 century - , since 15 centuries - Cossacks.  also became a basis of the Zaporozhye Cossacks.  lived in the south of present Kiev area, in territory present Poltava, Cherkassk, Zaporozhye (north), Dnepropetrovsk areas.  - dark-haired black-eyed people. The population of Slobozhanshchiny (Slobodsky Ukraine - present Sumy, Kharkov areas of Ukraine and the Belgorod region Russia) was mixed - there lived , , . In 17 century Russia wanted to join  (as they remembered consanguinity with ), and at  (the Zaporozhye Cossacks) such desire, generally speaking, was not. On Rejaslavsky Rade in 1654 Bogdana Khmelnitskiy had many opponents. The Zaporozhye Cossacks are were roll-field: yesterday were with Poland, today with Russia, tomorrow will be with Turkey and the Crimean khanate. The Zaporozhye Cossacks should not be idealized - it is necessary to study their true history.
