Topic: Whether it is possible to hold a file on duty xml near to the data?
I am sorry for a stupid title of a subject. Now I will explain that I want.
There is a table dataful about weather per every day on various cities.
For statistics it is necessary a XML document which would contain approximate structure:
<root> <record id=1> <city> Kazan </city> <temp> 22.00 </temp> <direction> north </direction> </record> <record id=100> <city> Saratov </city> <temp> 24.00 </temp> <direction> nord-west </direction> </record> ... </root>
Data is updated not so often.
And here requests become regularly. And a trouble that SQL is strained extremely. Then, the server code (application) turns the answer in , well and xml. It is prodigal enough operation which bends a server for some minutes.
Tell, whether it is possible on the basis of transient data in a DB to generate means SQL the necessary xml-file, that not its each time request the code from application?
However, if the data in underwent changes it also would be reflected on xml (i.e. the node (was added or deleted), the information if for example, temperature adjustment on a specific city has been imported) would change.
