Topic: Ecologists during the Second World War

Fresh article on Elements tears templates concerning temporal frames a little. As a whole telling about ecology laws, there are such phrases: In small article 1944 the scientist revealed regularity, according to which values of a biomass of soil organisms of each of various sized groups are approximately equal. Later other scientists on the population  (water thickness) showed presence of similar regularity.... It is interesting to trace the way which has led to M.S.Giljarova to a rule of equivalence of a biomass. In 1941 it published, apparently, one of the first overview articles on methods of determination of number soil . This operation was highly appreciated by one of the most known ecologists of that time - Charles Eltona (Elton, 1943; however, did not manage and without criticism to M. , in my opinion, unfair). http://elementy.ru/genbio/synopsis/553/ … v_ekologii
